Classic-style house n’ garage brought right up to date and more than living up to the artist name to boot… what’s not to love?

A very positive review on This Is Why We Dance:

June 15, 2013 in Singles

“The spirit of 90s-style house is in full force on Cosmic Disco Records’ latest drop,” reads the hype sheet for this one. They’re not lying.

There are two tracks, with four mixes in total. In its Original form, Don’t Make Me Wait itself is an uplifting slice of house music nostalgia that uses an assortment of famous vocal snippets, resung, alongside some proper hands-in-the-air pia-pia-piano action. Label boss Zweistein then supplies a remix that’s not hugely different, just a lil’ more deep n’ bumpin’. On the flip, you get Body Talk, a similarly retro-leaning garage cut (in the proper old-fashioned NYC sense), that again comes with a slightly deeper refix, this time courtesy of Jon Billick.
